We started Tassa In because "dog-friendly" was doing too much work.
Ask ten Stockholmers if a café is dog-friendly and you'll get ten different answers. Some places roll out a water bowl. Others just don't ask you to leave. There's a meaningful difference between the two, and it changes how a walk with your dog feels.
Tassa In is a small, community-run guide to the places in Stockholm that welcome dogs: cafés, restaurants, hotels, parks, and the shops that keep a treat jar behind the counter. Every verified place on the map is checked by a real dog owner before we publish it.
What "verified by Tassa In" means
A verified place has either been called or visited by us to verify the tips we get.
Who's behind it
It's us, Yvonne and Ruth. Yvonne has the cutest Dachshund Baloo and Ruth.. well.. confession time: she has a cat. But loves dogs! As a dog owner, Yvonne felt like a good app for finding dog friendly places was missing.
